The Abidance of Equality Act

Equality and harmony are the essential traits of a working place. In order to comply with the equality act, which passed in 2010, one must take strict measures. This act abolishes all sorts of discriminations. The discriminations related to age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and race and strongly discouraged. The abidance of equality act is important to maintain the decorum of the working place.

All sorts of harassments are highly scorned by equality act. It is important to keep the company active in terms of equality. If there is equality in the company, and no sense of superiority or inferiority then the company will prosper day and night. If there were no harmony and satisfaction within the company, how would the company be able to satisfy the customers?

There are various types of discriminations prohibited by the company and strongly discouraged by the equality act 2010.

There are discriminations such as direct discrimination and indirect discrimination. Along with these two general definitions, there is associative discrimination and perspective discrimination. To maintain a good system in the company, it is the duty of the employer to take the matters in his/her own hands if he/she himself restricts indulging into the implications of such discriminations.

An employer should lead from the front and show the employees that it is possible to have a versatile group of people in the company who each comprehends difference in terms age, sex, race, religion, and sexual orientation.

An employer should make the staff realize that it is possible to live with harmony and to follow the equality act peacefully. Employees can look at their employer and follow his/her examples. Small things are capable of making huge differences, so one must take some small steps to discourage acts of discrimination.

Company has developed strict policies that follow the equality act strictly. Not spare who violates this act. There are severe actions against a person who implicates segregation among genders, age groups, and races.  The company highly rewards the people who maintain a good atmosphere in the work place.

It is essential for the employees to abolish all the ill thinking, because harassment is a crime. A person caught harassing another may get behind bars for doing so. There should be abidance of laws on strict basis so that a precedent is set and no other person tries to discriminate again.

The company has its policies according to the equality act 2010. It ensures peaceful working environment without any gender segregation. If there is any discrimination, then the employee is encouraged to report. Then proper legal actions taken against the other person found responsible.
